ABOUT

Inspired by Japanese modern novelist Junichiro Tanizaki’s In Praise of Shadows –an essay about Japanese unique aesthetics on shadows in contrasting Western cultures, (glowing) explores concepts such as “timelessness” and “inter-being-ness”, within a space comprising light and shadow, with an international group of performers from Japan, Unites States, Senegal and Ethiopia.
